In Memory of John Jones
One of the Hippodrome’s beloved volunteers, John Jones passed away on Friday. He was a dear friend of our theatre and enjoyed the Arts a great deal. Please feel free to leave any thoughts or memories you have of him on our blog. He will be remembered.

Since I began working at the Hippodrome back in 2003 John was a very familiar face. Often times while waiting to open the doors before a show he would tell me stories about other performances he had seen at our theatre. He had seen many shows multiple times and would tell me about some of the flukes that would occur onstage and whether or not the performers successfully covered them up. He had a story for everything, and the telling of them was always pleasant to listen to. It reminded me of listening to stories on the radio or This American Life. What wonderful man he was!
