Meet Joseph, The Executive Director
For those who don’t know me, my name is Joseph Ginnane and I am the new Executive Director of the Waco Performing Arts Company. I grew up right here in Waco and a majority of my family still lives in the area. I attended St. Louis Elementary and Reicher Catholic High School (class of ’87). I earned a B.S. in Radio-TV-Film form Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, TX and an M.F.A. in Acting/Directing from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. After graduating from TCU, I spent two years touring the country as an actor with the Repertory Theatre of America and spent the next three years as a struggling actor in Chicago. For the past 12 summers (3 as Associate Artistic Director) I have worked as an actor and director for the Canterbury Summer Theatre in Michigan City, IN (right outside of Chicago, along the lake). I have also served as Managing/Artistic Director for the Macon Little Theatre in Macon, GA. Most recently, I served as Box Office Manager and Adjunct Theatre Faculty Member for McLennan Community College. I am very grateful to Scott Baker and the Board of the Waco Performing Arts Company for giving me this tremendous opportunity. I am very much looking forward to meeting all of you and continuing to work in the theatre right here in my home town!
