Volunteering with the Waco Performing Arts Company

The Hippodrome simply could not continue to keep its doors open without the monetary support of our donors and patrons. However, we also depend upon a selfless group of community-minded individuals that range in age from sixteen to sixty-plus who give of their time and expertise. These people are called the Hippodrome Ambassadors. Volunteer duties include ushering, ticket-taking, greeting patrons, and working concessions. The minimum age limit for volunteers is sixteen. When seating permits, volunteers watch the show. Some of our volunteers assist the Staff with office projects during the work week, working on data entry, answering phones, or poster distribution.
